Shakespeare in Hong Kong is quite a rarity. In this production thespians at the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre are putting on the comedy 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' in two languages: Cantonese and Putonghua (Mandarin). Expect the usual romantic farce with Puck, Bottom and a bunch of fairies blundering into love's true course. How the play translates to the Eastern stage remains to be seen.
