A welcome new addition to the limited jazz scene, the Blue Note has been packing them in. Not quite the smokey den one might suspect, musically its top drawer. Vocalist Eden Atwood and pianist Jeremy Monteiro are in residence. Atwood's father Hub was a writer and arranger for the likes of Frank Sinatra, and Nat King Cole and she's been singing since the age of three. Monteiro is be known as the King of Swing in his native Singapore and has 11 albums to his name. Music for the soul.
